ABILITIES:
Swordsmanship: Neliel has great experience in battle with a katana and possesses masterful swordsmanship.

Sonído Master: A technique used by Arrancar, it allows them to move at great speeds.

Cero: An ability of most higher level hollows, a cero is a concentrated blast of spiritual energy.

Cero Double: The ability to absorb a cero and redirect it wile adding her own cero, thus creating a double strenght cero.

Healing Ability: While she does not preform this ability in her adult form many of her abilities are present in both her child and adult state. In her child form she has the ability to heal injuries with her saliva. It can be assumed she would also maintain this ability in her adult form.

Zanpakuto: All Arrancar have a sword called a Zanpakuto. This sword contains an Arrancar’s sealed power. When it is released the Arrancar unlocks immense power and abilities. This release of power is called the Resurrection. Neliel’s Zanpakuto is named Gamuza.
• Gamuza Apperance: When Neliel releases her Gamuza it changes both her and her weapon’s appearance. Neliel becomes a centar like creature, with the body of a goat. Her mask’s horns grow longer and she obtains armor. Her katana turns into a large lance.
• Gamuza Special Abilities: So far only one of Gamuza’s abilites have been reviealed, Lanzardo Verde. Neliel throws her lance at her opponent. As it travels it builds up spiritual energy and spins creating a very powerful drill.


CHARACTER BACKGROUND:

Neliel is an arrancar, a hollow with shinigami powers. She is the former third espada, a group of 10 of the most powerful arrancar that established when Aizen entered Hueco Mundo and took power.

Neilel was continually confronted by a weaker espada, Nnoritora. Eventually Nnoritora teamed up with another arrancar, Szayel Appollo, so that he could use a sneak attack. He lured her into his trap by wounding her fraccion (followers) and then used a device invented by Szayel to confuse her, allowing him to cut her from behind. This caused her to suffer a massive wound on her head and cracked her mask. Shortly after she reverted to a child state. Szayel hypothesized that spiritual energy was leaking from her wound, thus diminishing her spiritual body and causing her to turn into a child.

CHARACTER PERSONALITY:
Neliel is very reserved and thoughtful in her adult form, a stark contrast to the bubbly outgoing personality of her child form. While she presents herself with reservation as an adult she is still very kind and warm to those she cares for. This is demonstrated when she tackles Ichigo to the ground in a hug after her transformation. She is incredibly intelligent and well spoken. All of her actions have purpose, both on and off the battlefield.

Neliel does not believe in drawing ones sword unless it is necessary, which was a major point of contention between her and Nnoritora. She viewed fighting for personal gain or competition as childish and weak. She refused to fight him simply to prove her strength. When Nnoritora explained that his desire was to die in battle she said she could not understand such a desire, saying that the pleasure would only be temporary.

Neliel has a fierce loyalty to those she cares about. It was her loyalty and devotion to her fraccion (those under her command) that led to her landing in Nnoritora’s trap. It was also this loyalty that led to her fraccion watching over her for years while she remained in her child form. Neliel also forms a strong bond with Ichigo after he helps her. It can be theorized that her desire to protect her friends is what led to her transformation back into her original adult form.

WORLD:
Neliel resides in Hueco Mundo, a land between the human world and Soul Society. Hueco Mundo, like Soul Society, is made of spiritual energy. The landscape of Hueco Mundo is that of an endless desert. There is no living vegetation, small shriveled tree like forms that dot the landscape are actually made of quartz. It is stark and cold in appearance. When Neliel was an Espada she lived in Los Noches, Aizen’s fortress. It was originally the castle of the King of Hueco Mundo, but was taken over when Aizen entered.

Neliel sat in the back of a covered wagon watching as the trail behind her disappeared on the horizon. Everything here was so vast and massive. She was not unfamiliar with that, Hueco Mundo seemed to continue on forever, but something about this place was different. Though she had friends at home there was something about Hueco Mundo that made you feel lonely. It consumed you and after a while you just forgot what it was like not to feel that way. Out here, even though she didn’t know anyone she didn’t feel lonely. She missed her friends greatly but more than wishing to return home she wished that they might find her here so that they could experience this feeling too.
